Ritchie Court has a spacious and attractively furnished ground floor dining-room.

Ritchie Court Accommodation:

17 single room flats - typically: living area 16x12ft; bed recess 9x9ft.

21 one bedroom flats - typically: living room 16x12ft; bedroom 13x12ft.

5 two bedroom flats - typically: of similar dimensions to the one bedroom flat but with an extra bedroom.


Each flat has:

  • Kitchen - approx 9x9ft with a standard fitting and double sink unit. Neither cooker (electric only) nor fridges are supplied.
  • Bathroom - with extractor ventilator and fitted handrails.
  • Delivery Rubbish Hatch
  • Two way entry phone system to the front door
  • Emergency Cord - by the bed and by the bath to call the warden. Connection of an outside aid-call system is the residents choice and responsibility.
  • A Walk in Store Room
Communal facilities include the following:

  • Dining room - for lunch only (5 days). Light supper dishes may be ordered.
  • Garden and Patio
  • Library
  • Car Park - with security lighting
  • Laundry room
  • Guest Room - 1 double, 1 single
  • Communal TV aerial and concessionaire licence fee
  • Satellite dish

There are also two lifts and three staircases. Strict fire precaution standards include units for smoke and heat detection. Connected to a fire bell alarm system.
